👍 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 👍

After nearly 12 years of this daft face behind the bar of TANK. I've made the difficult decision to step back, TANK will hopefully be under new ownership in the next few weeks.

For those of you who frequent the bar, you'll know who these guys are already, but I'll let them introduce themselves when the times right. But for me to leave TANK... its 1000% the right time.

I have met some absolutely incredible people having owned this bar over the last 12 years. I've seen friendships and even families made in this bar (not on the actual night but... ya get what I mean 👀) I am eternally grateful to have met every single one of you.

I have also worked with fantastic people over the years and again... I am so grateful to have worked alongside you all and the effort everyone put in.

I'll be pottering around this weekend after I've finished me other job if yous wanna pop in for a bev with us... if not, please support the lads as they take on this as a new venture. TANK has been open 15 years. I wish them 15 more and then some... 🍺

Our very own laura getting stuck into the best comedy scene St helens has seen in a looooong time.

Just a little shout out to everyone who puts the graft in to make these nights happen.

& for taking over when are where possible
8 for supplying the bevs and making the ship run.

All comedians (too many to tag) and loyal comedy customers who've supported this night for nearly three years. Here's to many more.

"Places like St Helens... needs places like TANK"

I got visited by a guardian angel last night... a ghost of christmas past, Kev. The O.G owner of TANK before we bought it 12 years ago.

I found this spooky as I start my new job today completely away from anything bar related. We had a big catch-up and a long chat about all things TANK.

With so much negativity going around St Helens and its night life at the moment. From all my personal struggles with it, too, over the last few years. I have seen plenty of bars open & shut all around us and town and wondered how come we haven't reached that point yet? It's because TANK is forever.

Old owners, current owners, new owners. It will always be TANK.
