We had a football presentation last week on the Saturday thanks Andy for booking with us (pictures below) and a kids party on the Sunday (no current pictures) so thank you too to Sophie for using our room. A week or so ago we had a young girl from St.Helens College performing her college project here. We’ve previously had Sammy performing here this time it was Lydia Hawksey. She’s booked the room as an acoustic event and put several up and coming bands/individuals on including herself: The Travelling Merseys, Sammy, Jamie, Paige & Lydia (herself). She’s filled the room with people, organised from start to finish and put a brilliant night on. Not only this they kindly donated £75 towards our roof fund. She deserves immense praise at her young age to put this event on with the help of her family & friends. We hope St Helen’s College acknowledge her efforts and we wish her all the best. A big big thank you for the bands and individuals that performed on the night to make it happen 🎶

Quiz nights still on Wednesday next week. Unfortunately Paula is absent this week so we hope she gets well soon. Graham will kindly fill in this Wednesday at 8pm onwards. The snooker seasons finished so Graham will fill In the void. Thursday night….. the World Cup starts please join us throughout the tournament 📚 ⚽️

Getting the club ready towards this summers World Cup we’ve a youth team football presentation night on Saturday night for Next Gen & Next Gen Spartans in the main room and for any local residents there’s a food truck in the club car park outside if you’re feeling hungry around the estate. Feel free to pop down 7pm onwards 🍔 🌭

If anyone’s interested in starting Line Dancing, Graham & Jean are looking to welcome new comers if you feel like trying it out. You can come down on a Tuesday or Thursday from 8pm onwards and just watch and see how it goes too. (Tuesdays currently the quieter one of the 2 nights if you felt like giving it a go) 🕺 🍷
