After an amazing 7 years creating, building & owning The Townhouse, I’ve made the decision that I’m ready for a new chapter in my life, and to focus on enjoying more time for myself and with my family.
I couldn’t have asked for a better 7 years holding the reins. 14 years in total being behind that bar, first starting as a weekend job after high school and eventually achieving my dream of owning my own business.
Over those years, I’ve met some of the most genuine, kind and caring people. People who started as customers and are now friends. I’ve had many counselling sessions with folk across the bar over the years, a few insults along the way (I’ll never let those drop 😂), and, better still, so many words of wisdom that I’ll never forget.
I also want to take a moment to thank my family and my partner for all of their love, patience and support over the years. Owning and running a business isn’t always easy, and there have been plenty of long days, late nights and sacrifices along the way. You’ve always been there for me & couldn’t have done it without you!
I honestly cannot thank all of my customers, past and present, enough for all of your continued support over the years. I wouldn’t have made The Townhouse the success it has been without you all. ❤️
I’m incredibly grateful and excited to be passing the reins over to the new owners, Natalie & Ste. They’re a lovely local family, and I know they’re going to continue building The Townhouse and bringing new life to the bar.
I wish them every success and would absolutely love for you all to continue showing them the same support you’ve shown me over the years.
My official last day of trading will be next Saturday. I hope to see as many of you as possible for a farewell drink before then! 🥂
