Tomorrow is the finale of 2026 Bricket Woodfest,and we have one of our regular and most popular bands "BLONDE REBEL".3.30-6.30pm due to fading light.
Its been a fantastic 14 weeks and for the first time in 24 years, we have not had to cancel a band or go inside because of the weather.A big thank you to all you who have come and supported it, work has already started on next years music, and i can tell you that in conjunction with my great friend Danny Harding .
it will be spread over two days throughout the summer.
Saturdays at the Old Fox and Sundays at The Black Boy.
we look forward to welcoming you all for some fantastic music.
Tomorrow at Head quarters we also have a Super Sunday of premier league football starting at 2pm with Everton vs Manchester united and followed by Arsenal vs Chelsea at 4.30pm
The BBQ will be on and the outside bar open.

It's Friday which means the weekend starts today at the Black Boy at 6pm it's the original free pizza giveaway, every Friday and Saturday throughout the year.At 7pm its Pete's Play Your Cards Right,after giving away £3500 last week to one of our regulars "Duffy' The jackpot stands at £1000.
we shall have all your live sport, including Cricket and the premier league.Sunday sees the penultimate Bricket Woodiest,with the fantastic 'JAMIE CALLIS"
The outside bar will be open and the BBQ on from 4pm-7pm.
should we get the threat of rain he will move into our covered area.

Enjoy an evening of 7 rounds of brain teasers and a lovely cooked supper for £6 (£2 if only taking part in the quiz)

Smoked Salmon in a Creamy Tomato and Vodka Sauce over Rigatoni served with a fresh Watercress Salad. x

Today its Friday at the Black Boy so the weekend starts today.At 6pm we have the original free pizza giveaway Friday & Saturday all year round.At 7pm its Pete's Play Your Cards Right,the jackpot currently standing at £2750.We shall be showing all your live sport through the weekend including the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix.On sunday its week 8 of Bricket Wood Fest and we have another one of our favourite groups "THE DIRTY DOG BAND" 4pm-7pm in the garden, the BBQ will be on, and our outside bar shall be serving.At 8pm we have our popular open mic night 'if you think you can sing or play, come and show us what you have got.

The Black Boy and the Saracen’s Head
Shall be showing the England vs Argentina game on Wednesday, however we will only be allowing entry to regulars and people who are known to us.
As I’ve said from day one pubs/clubs are not about 4 weeks every two years (don’t forget the euros) they are about the kind and valued patronage,we are privileged to be given 52 weeks a year.
should England negotiate this tricky fixture,our opening hours will change on Sunday,from our usual hours to the following.
12pm-4pm last orders 3.50pm
7pm- 00.00am.
Those of you looking forward to “Bricket Wood Fest”on Sunday,do not worry “THE GROOVE?RATS” will perform our season finale on the the 13th September,this was planned well in advance of the World Cup

We shall have door security and experienced staff monitoring entry to both establishments,at both the semi final and should we get there,the final

Its the only place to be for live sport and entertainment.
THE OLD FOX,BLACK BOY OR SARACEN'S HEAD WILL NOT BE SHOWING THE FORTHCOMING ENGLAND VS MEXICO FIXTURE.
Normal service will be resumed should England progress.

Hi all,just to avoid any confusion I can confirm that the Old Fox,The Black Boy and the Saracen’s Head WILL NOT be opening for the forthcoming England game,this is out of respect to our neighbours whom are kind enough to support us 52 weeks a year.
We hope you enjoy the match and hopefully we shall see you all for the 1/4 finals where normal service shall be resumed.
