We hope you’ve been good this summer, because our Christmas Menus have now landed, and we’ve gone BIG with our best festive menu ever!

This is the moment I shared the news with some of my team that we were expecting the newest member of the Craft & Cleaver team - a little baby girl ❤️

Moments like this are a reminder that behind the smoker, the b**rs, the busy services and the awesome BBQ, independent hospitality is built around close-knit teams and real people on their own journeys, coming together on this wild Craft & Cleaver ride!

We celebrate birthdays, engagements & new arrivals. We see people join us for their first ever shift, grow in confidence, make lifelong friends and sometimes move on to whatever comes next.

And on the way, we serve up a whole lotta BBQ!

🦞 Crack. Peel. Eat & Repeat 🦞

Every year, Louisiana comes alive with Crawfish Boils - huge feasts where friends & family gather around tables piled high with Cajun-spiced crawfish & seafood with smoked sausage, corn and potatoes.

We’re bringing this great Southern tradition to both sites this September for its 5th year, with the boil, all the trimmings, arrival snacks (grilled oysters anyone?) & dessert included.

The best bit? Our crawfish are wild-caught American Signal crayfish from UK waterways. They’re invasive, they threaten our native species, and by eating them we’re doing our bit to protect our wildlife.

Conveniently, they’re also absolutely bloody delicious!

Tables are 50% sold out at both sites. Don’t miss out - come get messy!

A beautiful, love-filled day yesterday for Rachel & Michael at Brook Farm Cuffley.

We kicked off this informal, hybrid-style menu with this selection of killer canapés:

Steak & Chips with Bearnaise Sauce
Tempura Prawn Futomaki with Sriracha Mayo
Sweet Potato Pakora, Mango Lassi & Pickled Radish
Halloumi & Sweetcorn Fritters with Chilli Jam

Main Course we served up Barbecue Loaded Fries with Salads & Sides to the tables:

Smoked Brisket & Chimmichurri Fries
Katsu Chicken Fries, Ginger Aioli & Chicken Scratchings
Maple & Wh***ey Pit Beans, Fries & Garlic Crema

Salads & Sides:

Heritage Tomato & Cucumber Salad with Za’atar
Charred Summer Veg with Lemon & Ancho Chilli Pesto
Green Salad with Maple-Mustard Vinaigrette

Desserts were a grab & go style with a choice of:

White Chocolate Mousse, Smoky Orange Marmalade & Ginger Crumb

Grilled Peaches & Custard Cream Eton Mess with Lemon Curd & Raspberry Compote

And for evening food we transformed the food truck in to a Taco Truck, serving up fresh, light tacos for a point of difference and to keep everyone fed for all the dancing!

A thick patty of single-estate Longhorn beef, smashed with fried onions for crispy, caramelised edges.

Thick-cut B**r & Treacle-cured Bacon from Dingley Dell Pork.

Triple American cheese.

Our tangy, creamy Deluxe Sauce.

Homemade pickles.

All stacked into a soft Sesame Brioche Bun from Seven Seeded Artisan Bakery.

On the side? Fluffy and crispy Fries, dusted generously with our Smokehouse seasoning.

All killer. No filler.

Always been a fan of Budweiser Budvar UK and now we’re very excited to be pouring it alongside our House L***r as a 5% Czech Pilsner option. Super creamy & clean, we think it’s perfect for washing down a pile of barbecue!

Also pouring is Brixton Brewery Electric Tropical L***r - a 4% fruit l***r with pineapple & passionfruit. Proper summer sipping 😍
