I want to take 2 mins out to say a MASSIVE thank you to all the people that came and drank chatted and supported me in my plans for the Rose and Crown. You support drove me on to do the best I could in the situation I was in as the general manager. My dream to taking over and get the pub back to where it should be have taken a massive blow.

So for me Thomas and the staff.. a big big Thank you so much.

Love all of you and love the pub. But hey! We can only but try.

I’m sad to say that the management have decided to shut down the Rose And Crown.

The change over hasn’t happened yet and they are now no longer willing to wait.

Hopefully I can sort direct with Stongate. So hope to see you soon.
