We were proud to be at the 21st Century Social Clubs AGM at Redhills today, joining clubs from across the UK who, just like us, are working hard to evolve from traditional working men’s clubs into modern, inclusive community hubs.

21st Century Social Clubs supports clubs with funding, business advice, and practical help to strengthen finances, grow membership, and secure their future. Our secretary, Thomas Hockaday, spoke on today’s panel about the vital role Sacriston Club plays in our village and why protecting spaces like ours matters more than ever.

As a committee, we’re committed to futureproofing Sacriston Club for the next generation. After 120 years of serving our community, our building needs major investment to stay safe, accessible, and sustainable and we’re determined to make that happen.

Our GoFundMe is live, and every donation helps us take the next step towards a modern home that Sacriston can rely on for decades to come.

Wow! Full power cut last night and still no one went home 🤣 . Thank you for having patience, once we jumped a couple of hurdles, we carried on singing, (in the dark) with my trusty speaker.......

The last bank holiday weekend of the year( time really does fly). Everyone's favourite DJ is back at 4pm Sunday. Let's finish the summer with a dance, singing, laughter and drinks 😀🍷 🍻 🍺.
