We are so excited for the amazing Pickle and Dill and Sip and Smoke to explode new life in to the wonderful little restaurant that was Craft.

Humbled, honoured, overwhelmed. With a big dose of relief.

Without all you amazing customers and all the staff who put their valuable time and thoughts in to this little business, we would not have had such a successful 3 years. All my heartfelt thanks so every individual who has supported Craft, in one form or another.

What happens now? I start college to become a sparky. Ben is full time at . Daz and Dan and driving forces in . Jo is also heading to college to pursue her hair and beauty career and Will is heading back to Uni to continue his political journalism studies.

The beauty of this little business is that we have all grown as people, discovered what we enjoy, developed skills and forged a new path for ourselves.

Small hospitality businesses are real tough to run. There's a lot of responsibility, a lot of expenses and you can never please everyone. It's hot, tiring, there's no routine, crazy hours, cuts, burns, hoops to jump through, laws and legalities to abide by, training, inspections, financial number crunching, sour grape customers. It's relentless. But, I got SO lucky with the team around me, supporting me in every area through ups and downs and driving Craft to its success.

I'm not closing because we're a failing business. I am just ready to move on from hospitality after having been in the industry for over half my life. I've ticked the box, I've had a blast, I've met the best people. Now I need to learn a new skill.

And hey, never say never...

Our final can stock! We have an amazing array of beers from Burnt Mill including NE pale ale, Imperial stout, West Coast, Citra Pale, Centennial pale ale! 6 wonderful beers, come drink our fridge dry. This weekend and next weekend, then we're out, homies ✌️.

FOR SALE: the pink neon Vegan sign is for sale for the right price. I love it, it's sentimental, but I have no where to keep it. So for the right price I'll let it go to the right home. It was £500 new. If you're interested, drop me a message. It's dimmable so can have it on a low glow or a bright glow. Holes in to screw it to the wall.

It's been a journey, which has now come to an end. The last day the doors will be open to Craft and Grind No.9 will be Saturday 2nd September.

So much love to everyone who has supported myself, Daz and the whole team who helped the venture grow from a pizza pop up during lockdown to a restaurant. We hope you have made great memories eating pizza and drinking beer.

If anyone would like buy the business and continue the craft pizza legacy, it is up for sale and I am open to offers. Or if you love our building & location and see yourself starting your own venture in our restaurant then drop me a msssage and I can hook you up with the landlord (who have been amazing, we got so lucky 🤩)
