Willow Brook Townswomen’s Guild started in 2009 as a small group of ladies who wanted to make new friends, discover their local area and get involved in events and activities in Bradley Stoke. The Guild’s varied evening programme of activities includes interesting talks, party nights and craft evenings, not to mention the annual Christmas party with festive fayre and entertainment! Past meetings
have included a fashion show, Hawaiian evening, bee keeping talk, Women’s Land Army talk, and seated Zumba! The Guild lays on a range of additional informal activities including a book club, a ‘meet and chat’ coffee morning, guided walks around the local area (weather permitting!) and an opportunity to get together and socialise over a delicious pub lunch. The Guild also organises regular trips and outings and members can also get involved with demonstrations and events organised by other Townswomen’s Guilds in the Bristol area. Willow Brook Townswomen’s Guild meets on the second Tuesday of each month, 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the Jubilee Centre, Bradley Stoke.
