Today we welcomed Penkridge B to Staffordshire University Academy where 3 points was a must!

With in the first minute we found ourselves 1-0 down after a silly foul gave away a free kick which was headed at the back post across the face of goal for an easy tap in

Wasn’t long though until we found a way back into the game on the 10 minute mark

Russ Ambrose was at it again when he arrowed a ball across to Greeny who does what Ad does beats two men and slots home 1-1 game on!

Albion then woke back up with a number of effort just creeping wide but it wasn’t long until we took the lead with a goal of the season contender

Penks goalkeeper with the goal kick just going passed the half way line where it was met by our very own slab head Jake Homer who rocketed it back towards goal where the goalkeeper could only get a finger tip to it to help it across the line very fortunate but wow unbelievable header!

The 36th minute we made it 3-1 after 3rd time lucky with a corner at it again Mr Russ Ambrose swings one in to find Ben Harrison at the back post to head it across the line!

Albion was a bit sluggish at the start of the second half but we finally nicked a 4th when good old Mr Chunk with a goalkick straight over their defensive line to find Reece Daniels 1 on 1 with the penkridge goalkeeper where he calmly slots home to make it 4-1
