✨ Thank You, Fox Inn Community 🦊

A huge thank you to everyone who has made us feel so welcome over the past three months. The support and fantastic feedback since taking over has been truly appreciated. It’s been great meeting so many of you and becoming part of such a supportive local community 🧡

Last Christmas was especially memorable for us — our very first at The Fox Inn. Experiencing the beautiful local tradition was incredibly special, and a heartfelt thank you to and her horse, Fred, for passing by the bridleway and helping to keep this wonderful tradition alive.
Seeing something that brings the whole community together on such a special day was truly moving, and it’s something we’ll always treasure and feel proud to be part of. 🎄✨

We’re already looking forward to celebrating it again this year, creating more memories together, and continuing to grow The Fox Inn as a place for great food, great company, and a real sense of community.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped us donate to Together, we raised £246.56, which will help support people in hardship this winter.
If you’d still like to support this charity, donations can be made at the bar. We’re accepting card donations at the counter via Goodbox. 🙏

🎄🐴 A Horse Walks Through The Fox Inn Tradition! 🐴🎄

As the new owners of The Fox Inn, Bucks Green, we’d love to keep one of Sussex’s most magical Christmas traditions alive — and we need a horse to help us do it!

Every Christmas Day at noon, a horse walks through our 16th-century pub, following the old bridleway that still runs straight through the bar. It’s a heart-warming sight and we can’t wait to carry it on!

✨ We’re looking for:
• A calm, well-handled horse (ridden or led)
• Comfortable with gentle crowds and festive cheer
• Ideally a horse with a great story — a local hero, show horse, police horse, or beloved character!

We’ll ensure safe footing, clear space, and plenty of festive treats (for horse and human alike!).
