HALLOWEEN AT THE TD 🎃

This Saturday, it’s adults only… because the kids get enough sweets and we deserve a drink. 🥃

We can’t promise silly games or cocktails with floating eyeballs, but we CAN promise over-25s fancy dress fun with a crowd who make a noise getting out of a chair without even trying to be spooky. 👻

Our new drinks smoker will be adding a little mystery to some of our stronger drinks. A bit of smoke and a stiff drink… practically Stars in Their Eyes for grown-ups. 💨

NOW THAT’S THE PERFECT ROYTON HAT-TRICK!

Join us this Friday from 6pm as we officially launch Trail Brew’s Dovestone L***r and Tandle Hill Hazy Pale, with big discounts on both throughout the evening.

And because a good pint deserves something decent alongside it, we’ll also have food supplied by CURIO.

These guys need no introduction. Absolutely amazing food from another small independent who, much like ourselves, does things their own way without cutting corners.

WHAT A WEEKEND 🖤

Firstly, a huge thank you to Louise, Claire and Helen for choosing the TD to celebrate your birthdays. We absolutely loved hosting your celebrations and hope you all had the best time!

Then it was back to our usual Saturday night atmosphere. Live music and a bar full of new and familiar faces. All relaxed inside whilst the weather outside was doing its best to relocate half of Royton to Yorkshire!

And what a start for our new local b**rs!** Trail Brew’s Dovestone L***r and Tandle Hazy Pale** have been flying out quicker than garden furniture in this weather!

Our official Trail Brew launch is this Friday 30th October, and EVERYONE is welcome! We’ve got a great evening planned, so come down and join us!

Now, a little word about private parties…

We noticed a few people trying to visit us on Friday, only to find the door closed for a private function. We genuinely hate turning people

Private parties are a massive part of keeping our little business going. Without them, the numbers simply wouldn’t add up

One thing we will always try to protect is our Saturday evenings for the general public. We know how much people enjoy coming down, seeing familiar faces, catching up with friends and having a good night with us

And finally, a huge thank you to our little team.

We deliberately keep our staff team small, It’s that personal touch, remembering people’s drinks, having a laugh and making everyone feel welcome, that we believe makes The TD what it is.

A special mention for Zarah… and I know she’ll absolutely cringe reading this!

She’s got her head screwed on far better than I did at that age.

On Saturday, a lovely lady wanted to give her a £50 tip, purely because of how well she’d looked after her throughout the evening.

Now, we’re not exactly in Las Vegas, and tipping like that isn’t really part of our culture, so when somebody wants to show their appreciation in that way, it’s incredibly humbling.

I probably sound like a broken record thanking everyone every weekend, but I genuinely mean it.

JEEZ… WHAT A WEEKEND! 🍸

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, especially those celebrating Brad’s 30th birthday and everyone who came along to see Niall Barnes bring the house down! 🎶🤠

We’re sorry to anyone we had to turn away, but we were completely full. A massive thank you to our amazing staff, we only have a small team but they work their backsides off. Huge thanks to our regulars, and all the new faces who discovered The TD this weekend.

It’s always lovely when people visit us for the first time and say, “I can’t believe we’ve never been here before!” It does make us wonder whether we should be doing more to spread the word on social media—but, on the other hand, there’s something special about people stumbling across us and being pleasantly surprised. 🤫

We’re loving having the candles out early and, as promised, we’ll be opening on Sundays soon! 😂

We go again next week: Mediumship Night, private parties, and another Saturday of Trap Door magic.

Just a little heads-up — this will be our last Friday open to the public for a couple of weeks, as we’ve got some private events booked in afterwards.

So if you’ve been meaning to enjoy a Friday night at the TD, this is the perfect opportunity. Seating is limited, and booking a table is the best way to make sure you don’t miss out! 🍷

🤠 SATURDAY 17TH OCTOBER – COUNTRY NIGHT! 🎸

We’ve got a private event until 6pm, then we’ll be throwing open the doors for our over-25s crowd!

And this Saturday, it’s all things COUNTRY! 🇺🇸

🎤 LIVE MUSIC FROM Niall Barnes – 9PM

Expect some brilliant country tunes, strong drinks and another cracking Saturday night.

With limited seating available, we recommend booking ahead if you’d like to settle in and enjoy the evening comfortably.

We’re a table-service venue on both Friday and Saturday nights, so there’s no queuing at the bar. Just get comfortable, relax and let us bring the drinks to you!

As much as we’d love to squeeze everyone in, once all our seats are taken, we’re full! We don’t operate as a standing-room bar, so booking a table is the easiest way to avoid disappointment.
