35 YEARS AT THE WOODIES 🍻🌳

This August marks 35 years since our family (the Warners) took over The Woodies.

In fact, the Messer family who ran it before us were here for 26 years, meaning in over 60 years, our little pub has changed hands just once.

And we feel that needs celebrating!!

So, save the date: 21st–23rd August.

We’ve got a few things planned for the weekend to celebrate 35 years and, most importantly, to say thank you to all of you who have made it possible for us to stick around this long!

Wow there have been a lot of memories made over the years and, depending on the time of night, not all of them likely to have been remembered the next day… but we’ve had a laugh regardless!!

If you’ve got any old photos, memories or stories from The Woodies (whether they’re from 1991 or last weekend) we’d love you to send them our way using the link in this post. We’ll be sharing as many of them as we can in the run up to next weekend.
