So sad to hear of the passing of our great friend Len Scouller, he will be sadly missed by all of us at the Glenburn. Our thoughts are with Beverley and family at this sad time.

We have taken the unfortunate decision to bring forward our Seasonal Shutdown to Monday 16th of November this year.

With the First Minster announcing the extension of Tier 3 travel restrictions across the Central Belt, along with the additional restrictions applied to Angus, Fife and Perth & Kinross, it simply is not viable for us to continue.

Management and Staff want to sincerely thank all our guests for their continued support over what has been a very challenging year. We can't wait to welcome you back to Rothesay in 2021!

As with everything this year, Remembrance Sunday won't be as we know it.

With the Armed Forces making a huge contribution to the battle against COVID at the moment, it is as important as ever to remember past sacrifices made on our behalf, and to acknowledge the ongoing contribution the Armed Forces make to our lives.

In their honour, we will be illuminating the Hotel in Red this weekend.

*** KIDS EAT FREE THIS WEEKEND ***

This Saturday and Sunday (7th/8th November) Children under the age of 12 eat FREE when accompanied by a adult!

Our kitchen will be serving Bar Meals from Midday til 20.00 on both days.

A limit of one kids meal per adult meal will apply.

Whilst it won't be Christmas as usual this year, we will be doing all we can to keep the festive cheer alive and well!

Our Menu for Christmas Day Lunches has now been confirmed! We will be serving from 12.30 - 15.00 in our spacious dining rooms.

With the ban on "in-home socialising" still a strong possibility over the festive period, Christmas Day Lunch at The Glenburn will allow you to celebrate with another household in a safe and sanitised environment (plus no dishes!).

Its "New Regulations" day again and some more positive news after the First Minister has moved Argyll and Bute into Tier 2 as of Monday 2nd November.

- We will now be able to serve Alcohol indoors when purchased with a meal until 20.00 each evening.

- We will now be able to serve Alcohol on our veranda area until 22.30 each evening

Whilst the current restrictions for Hospitality Businesses may have been extended by another week today, our doors are staying firmly open!

To remind everyone of what we can and can't offer you under the current restrictions:

- Non Residents are welcome to dine with us until 18.00 each evening in our Bar Area.

- Non Residents are welcome to drink on our Veranda until 22.00

- Residents of the Hotel will be able to dine with us at our usual times. Alcohol consumption will be limited to our outdoor veranda area until 22.00 each evening.

- We will be unable to allow/sell Alcohol for indoor consumption at anytime.

Following the latest changes to Government Regulations, as of Friday 9th October we will be operating with the following procedures:

- Non Residents are welcome to dine with us until 18.00 each evening in our Bar Area.
