If you give a £50 note to a butcher, who then buys from the baker, who then buys from the candlestick maker, it’s always worth £50, & after 50 transactions it’s still worth £50

When you pay by card, the bank takes 3% or even 5%. The butcher, baker and candlestick maker all have to pay the bank for each transaction, and after 30 or 50 transactions…

The bank has the whole £50 in fees.

This is the reason cash is king so whilst card payments are handy just remember who wins in the end …. the banks

As we bring another fantastic season to an end, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on all the hard work, dedication, memories and achievements along the way.

A huge congratulations to today teams, our runners-up, Kirsten Porter and Dave Whitehead, and to our worthy winners, Ellie and Harrison Howarth! 🏆👏

What a fantastic achievement for you all, and a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the season. Well done to everyone involved – we hope you’re all incredibly proud of yourselves!

What a wonderful way to round it all off with such a lovely presentation evening! It was fantastic to see everyone come together to celebrate the efforts and accomplishments of all those involved.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the season. We couldn’t do it without you!

Congratulations to everyone who received an award, and well done to all for another brilliant season. 🏆👏

Now it’s time for a well-earned break before we go again! We can’t wait to see what next season brings. 💙

As summer comes to an end, please be aware that we will be operating on reduced hours going forward:

Monday - 17:00 - 23:00
Tuesday - Closed
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday - Closed
Friday - 17:00-23:00
Saturday - 13:00 - 21:00
Sunday - 13:00 - 21:00

Last orders will be called 30 minutes before closing time

Additionally, please note that the club will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday this week (2nd and 3rd September)
