🎯 Bringing back the great British pub games at the Black Lion! 🎯
There's something special about a proper, traditional pub — the kind where the sound of darts hitting the board, dominoes clacking on the table, and friendly rivalries playing out over a pint never goes out of style. That's exactly what we're bringing back to the Black Lion.
Darts is taking centre stage. Some traditions run deep, and darts goes back many years within these walls — it's always been at the heart of pub life in Skelton-on-Ure, and it's time to bring that spirit roaring back. 🦁
But we're not stopping there. Alongside the oche, you'll find:

This is what a traditional village pub is all about — no fuss, just good games, good company, and good pints with friends and neighbours..
Because that's what these games have always done — brought neighbours together, turned strangers into friends, and given generations of villagers a reason to laugh, compete, and connect. Tradition and fun, side by side, building the kind of community spirit that only a proper local pub can create.
