Hello everyone 👋🏼
So a VERY 🫣 belated update to our opening but we are finally able to open up Feel Bar!!! 😍😍😍 (Sunday 24th May @ 3pm until 21.30) 😁
Firstly we want to introduce you all to our main hosts that you’ll meet here at Feel Bar.
On the left is the lovely Eden & on the right we have the dashing Chester 😍🥰
Onto a few of notes regarding Feel Bar:
We are an over 25’s establishment within the covered seating areas, if you are blessed to look under 25 you will be asked for id before being served.
Children & pets are welcome within the outdoor zone but are NOT permitted within the covered seating areas. Please be aware that we don’t have any activities for children at this time.
We have a limited number of off road parking spaces available, please note that the parking area is locked from 22.00 & will not be reopened until 12pm the following day (excluding mondays when the car park is open from 9am).
Card payments are the only payment we accept, this is due to a surge in fake notes, costs incurred when paying cash into the bank & the safety and security issues when storing cash. We appreciate this can be seen as an inconvenience to some & our policy may change in the future but for now we only accept card payments.
Opening days & times:
Fridays 5pm - 10pm, Saturdays & Sundays (& bank holiday mondays) 2pm until 9.30pm
BUT….. this will be massively controlled by the weather.
Our premises is not suitable to be operating under very windy or very wet conditions nor when cold (below 12 degrees) so in reality we will only be open during late spring, the summer & possibly into autumn.
Mondays through to Thursday openings may occasionally occur, weather conditions & availability of staff permitting, such openings will be updated on our page.
We are not the traditional pub or bar, we have tried to provide a tranquil, chilled space for those wishing to relax after a busy day or hectic week. Our music is chilled house & relaxing vibes but will pick up the pace a little as the evening draws on.
Thursdays, however, will be purely country music tracks from the past few decades 🤠🤠🤠
Our prices are not particularly cheap, pints of lager start from £5.50 & IPAs from £6.00 per pint, bottled beers & ciders from £4.00. Glasses of Spanish wines from £4.00.
The beers we will be offering will be from lesser known smaller breweries & will be swapped out on regular intervals to provide a changing lineup, though our 2 main regular lagers are rather more popular.
Our spirit of choice is tequila so many of our cocktails & mixers will be tequila based & they start from £8.00, we do stock the more traditional spirits but not all.
We don’t play any sports on the big screen, we have a traditional dart board & have arcade machines playing the retro classics 👾 such as pac-man & donkey kong, which are free to use to our customers. Music is kept to a level where a conversation can be held & eardrums are not perforated, well, most of the time anyway 😜
Feel Bar was created during the covid lockdown to provide a chillout zone with a balearic / mediterranean / Ibizan beach bar vibe which we hope we have achieved to some extent (minus the mediterranean sea lapping at our feet, unfortunately 😓). We have avoided any garish lighting to create a much more ambient & truly chilled environment in which a beverage can be enjoyed at a leisurely, unhurried pace.
Our adjoined cafe is in a time of limbo presently as our chef is expecting her first child which will mean hot food is unlikely to be available (though not impossible), we do offer crisps & nuts & may be able to offer, on occasion, some hot snacks & nibbles.
Coffee & teas are available along with soft drinks.
This first season for Feel Bar will be a taster of things to come, depending on how things go, as we have multiple options & ideas for the surrounding spaces which will be dictated to by Feel Bars viability.
To find Feel Bar just look out for ‘Ibiza blue’ or to be more specific, the blue boulder on the right hand side of Preston road on the way out of Ribchester heading towards Longridge (or on the left before you begin the steady descent into Ribchester if travelling from Longridge) if the gates are open there’s a very good chance Feel Bar is ready to take your order.
