📈 CPD Y Rhyl 1879 Reserves ⚽️

CPD Y Rhyl 1879 are once again inviting applications for the role of Reserve Team Manager as we continue to strengthen the pathway between our development squad and Cymru North First Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious coach to work closely within a progressive football club, developing and managing a talented young squad while also playing an important role alongside the first-team environment.

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the senior management team to help identify, develop, and prepare players for the step into first-team football, making this a key position within the club’s long-term vision both on and off the pitch.

Home matches are hosted at the Hops & Barley Community Stadium, with the club continuing to build on strong foundations across all levels of football.

✍️ NEW SIGNING | MAX MOORE ⚫️⚪️

We’re delighted to welcome Max Moore to CPD Y Rhyl 1879 ahead of the new season, subject to clearance. 💪

The talented winger/striker joins the Lilywhites after previous spells with Connahs Quay Nomads, Llandudno and Buckley, having also come through the youth ranks at Connahs Quay Nomads.

One of Max’s proudest achievements in football so far was making his Welsh Premier debut for Connahs Quay at just 19 years old, and he now arrives at the Hops and Barley Community Stadium determined to help Rhyl achieve promotion to the Welsh Premier.

Known for his pace, agility and determination to win football matches, Max is aiming to contribute as many goals and assists as possible this season while continuing to improve his game year after year.

🗣️ “I loved the ambition of the club to get promoted this season. It’s a massive club with a great fan base and I can’t wait to get out there.”

Away from football, Max works at Amazon and enjoys spending time with family and friends…when his legs eventually recover from chasing defenders all afternoon! 😂 A Manchester United supporter, Max says the best player he’s played with was Dylan Levitt at youth level, while the toughest opponent he’s faced was “some young Dutch lad at Feyenoord!” 🤣

When he’s not playing football, Max enjoys a good steak burger, watching Spiderman films and listening to Morgan Wallen.

Joe joins us from Flint Mountain and arrives with plenty of energy, passion, and determination to continue developing his game at the highest level possible.

A natural left-back, Joe is excited by the high standards within the squad and the strong group of players already at the club, believing it will help bring the very best out of him this season.

A Liverpool supporter and big fan of Drake, Joe enjoys travelling away from football and has set his sights on helping push Rhyl get to the top division where the club belongs.

An interesting fact about Joe, he is half Vietnamese 🇻🇳
