The Stiwt has always been more than a building 🧱

Opened in 1926 and funded by the working-class community and the Miners’ Welfare Organisation, it became a place for learning, gathering, performance and belonging. And when it later faced demolition, local people fought to save it.

Later this month, the Stiwt celebrates its centenary with ‘In A Hundred Years / Ymhen Can Mlynedd’, a special anniversary production, following the cultural cornerstone’s story through a century of life in Rhosllannerchrugog.

In A Hundred Years: the Stiwt’s Story Takes to the Stage

Join us at The Stiwt for another Sound Therapy Session, an afternoon to switch off from the everyday and simply be.

We’ll begin with a guided relaxation to ease you into a rested state, followed by sound therapy designed to help your body receive exactly what it needs.

🧘 What to bring: your own mat, blanket or cushion, and an eye mask if you’d like one, all help you settle in comfort.

📍 Arrival: 12:15pm at the side door by the car park (not the main entrance). Doors open at 12:15 this is your time to arrive and set up.
