Growing up in a poorer neighbourhood in the centre of Lisbon, Portugal, my mother taught my Sister and I at a young age that happiness often comes, not from what you have, but from what you share and the experiences you create. Often, my mother would bring out steaming dishes made from local ingredients she found on the tail end of a weekday market to share with our neighbourhood and the homeless and we would sit together until the early hours, laughing, talking and drinking strong wine. These are still some of my favourite memories. Now, with over 12 years experience in mixology and bartending across Europe, the passion to bring joy to people’s lives through shared experience within an intimate, personal setting is stronger than ever. And so, the creation of dopamine private bartending.
