Burghfest

Throwback for 10 years of Murdochs on a Friday night 🙂 that year we borrowed the scout tent and the Willink's stage.

So not just production that has changed - I think the main one is that in 2016 every single band played Living on a Prayer... As organisers we even had a private competiton for which was the best version of the day.
..By 2026 this became to 'Mr Brightside' We think this was the biggest cultural shift over the decade.

Final post tonight - to give a huge shout-out to the amazing stage and music crew! So much work to set all the stage up, then do all the production for audio and visuals throughout the event, and take it all apart again.

We hope the bands had a good time too!

Phenomenal we have such talent locally for the production and all the artists

An army of volunteers today - thank you all for your help

3 days to build the site, 8 hours today to take it down… might have been faster if some of us were not so foggy headed today.

Thanks to everyone for their help, sorry we didn’t get a photo of all of you during your shifts, in action!
