Absolute carnage last night… but just like Ghana, we put up a fight! 💪⚽

To make things even more interesting, the card machines went down globally through Worldpay right in the middle of it all 😅, but we powered through and kept things moving.

A huge thank you to all our customers for your patience and understanding while service slowed down, and an even bigger thank you to the team who stepped up, adapted, and got stuck in when things got challenging. 👏🍻

Over the next few days you’ll notice a few small tweaks to the menu as we adapt to the heat. ☀️🔥 As you can imagine, the kitchens in these old pub buildings run considerably hotter than the outside temperature — often 15°C+ hotter!

Now onto Saturday’s game! ⚽🍺

We still have a table or two available, so jump online and get booked in. If the only option showing is Dining & Drinking, book it anyway and we’ll make it work.

What a night! A little bit nervy in the first half, but the lads got the job done and the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. 🙌

Every single booking turned up, behaviour was spot on, and you lot created a cracking atmosphere all evening.
That’s exactly what football nights should be about. 👏🍺

A massive thank you to the team as well. These big events don’t just happen on their own and once again the staff absolutely smashed it. ❤️

💙 COLIN’S ARMY – 66 MILE CHALLENGE FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK 💙

Many of you know how important community is to us, and today we’re asking for your support for a very special cause.

At the end of 2025, Colin was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Following surgery, doctors successfully removed the cancer from his bowel and lymph nodes, but further scans revealed it had spread to his liver and is now inoperable.

In response, Colin’s family are taking on the Bobby Moore 66 Mile Challenge to raise money for Cancer Research UK, helping to fund vital research, improve treatments, and bring hope to families facing cancer.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support this incredible cause. ❤️
