Ladies and gents.... just to reiterate...
unnecessarily might i add...

as there has been more than fair warning... entry to the pub is now not an option....

The queues outside are not effective...
A waste of your time and effort, as is calling me...

Rules are rules...

And again...

Fair warning has been given of our restricted entry...

Apologies... but... I am not risking my home,my business my income to make exceptions and put myself at risk.

Something I'd like you to consider...

If I act unprofessionally and make exceptions, I risk my home, business, income and my licence, which as a result removes my ability to provide you with a pub you wish to be in and have Something such as this place.
The result for you is a bit of a hangover, which you will recover from with a bit of time, paracetamol and maybe a bloody Mary according to wives tales... and you can do it all again...

I get one chance... and I can't get any of it back in a few hours after paracetamol and hair of the dog.

We know there are a few things going on around Raunds this Halloween, and we know everyone's got different plans… but we've been working on something a little different for the early evening at The Globe! 🌎🧡
🍿 KIDS' HALLOWEEN MOVIE EVENING — FROM 5PM! 🎬
Rather than another kids' disco, we're turning our snug into a spooky little cinema! Think Halloween films, popcorn, sweets, drinks, snacks and a cosy atmosphere to keep the little monsters entertained. 🧙‍♀️🧛‍♂️👻
And let's be honest, parents… there's nothing wrong with a bit of forward planning! 😉 While the kids are happily engrossed in the screen, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a well-earned drink, knowing they're having their own little Halloween treat!..
🕷️ THEN, AS NIGHT FALLS… THE GLOBE GOES GHOULISH! 🕷️
Once the little monsters have had their fun, it's time for the GHOULS' NIGHT OUT! 🦇🍹
🎭 Fancy dress encouraged! 🍸 Halloween-themed drinks! 🏆 Prizes for the best dressed! 🎶 Great music, great company and the usual Globe atmosphere!
Whether you're bringing the kids for the early show or joining us later to unleash your inner monster, there's a little Halloween magic waiting for everyone! 🧡🖤

Just a reminder to everyone joining us this evening that, from midnight, our doors will be closed to all new customers, with absolutely no exceptions.

We kindly ask that everyone respects this policy. Once our doors are closed, please do not knock on the doors or windows, shout from outside, or telephone requesting entry. Unfortunately, these requests will not be answered, and entry will not be permitted.

This policy has been introduced for the benefit of our customers, staff, neighbours and the wider community, and we ask for everyone's cooperation and understanding in helping us maintain it.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to welcoming everyone who arrives in good time to enjoy their evening with us. 💛

THE GLOBE FAMILY,YOU’VE MADE US PROUD!

Well… we knew our community had a big heart, but even we didn’t expect this! 🥹❤️
In just TWO NIGHTS at The Globe, since Nellie Smith started this project with me, we’ve managed to fill more of our Christmas Football Cards and raise far more money than we ever anticipated for Raunds Food Bank. 🎄👏
And honestly, that’s a testament to the hearts of our customers and the people who continue to support what we’re trying to do here.
Every £1 square, every card filled and every little contribution is helping us support local people and families who might be struggling this Christmas. It all adds up, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has got involved so far. ❤️

But there’s something else we really also want to say…
Raunds Food Bank is there for people who need it. Full stop. ❤️

Nobody should ever feel judged, embarrassed or ashamed about needing a little help. We all face different challenges, and with the cost of living putting pressure on so many households, sometimes a bit of support can make all the difference.
The generosity we’re seeing through these cards is proof that there are people in our community who understand that, who care, and who want to help others through difficult times.
That’s what community is all about. Not judging people for what they’re going through, but standing together and helping where we can. ❤️
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has bought a square, filled a card, donated or simply helped spread the word. We’ve only just got started, and we’re already blown away! 🙌
