📚 THE GLOBE STAFF DEVELOPMENT SESSION
Lesson 1: Understanding the English Language — specifically, the word " grace " and the word “Perfect”.
After what can only be described as an extensive educational investigation, involving several minutes of independent research, dictionary consultation and absolutely no professional input whatsoever, we have reached an important conclusion.
Firstly: “Perfect.”
The dictionary clearly establishes that perfect means without fault; flawless — and, rather conveniently, provides an example involving Tom Larkin
At this point, the evidence was already fairly conclusive. 😂
However, we then turned our attention to the word “ Grace ”
The first definition, rather lovely:
Grace: an act of kindness, courtesy or goodwill; a quality of elegance and beauty…
So naturally, we thought:
“Ah, that explains it. What a compliment.” ❤️
Then we reached Definition 2.
And suddenly everything made sense.
“A female lacking the ability to accept when she is wrong and unwilling to understand the definition of the word perfect.”
At first, we thought this was merely an unfortunate coincidence.
But then we considered the fate, destiny and remarkable timing involved in someone named Grace finding herself working alongside a man whose dictionary definition apparently includes the word perfect.
Surely this can't just be coincidence?
We therefore conducted a further professional assessment....
Finding: In a named manner "Grace" remains completely unwilling to accept that Definition 2 is, in fact, accurate.
Which, ironically, only further confirms Definition 2.
😂😂
So after today's classroom session, we have learned three important things:
1. " Grace Mason " in a true to form manner is a truly graceful example of the true definition of her name
2. Tom is apparently perfect... as he was right.. undoubtedly and as always.
3. Grace still hasn't accepted either of these facts.
But thankfully, despite this ongoing educational disagreement, we remain a team. ❤️😂

Homework: Grace — please read the definition of perfect again.
Extra homework: Try accepting that you're wrong.
