There is something really special about watching a singer/songwriter who has lived and breathed music since early childhood. You can hear it in every note and every carefully chosen lyric. Not just in their voice or their skill with an instrument but in the way they connect with the audience, taking the time to tell the story behind the song. Jame's performance was full of songs about life, love, loss and heartbreak, each one carrying a piece of their own journey woven into melodies that resonate with the audience.

Despite his immense talent, James remains humble. There's no ego, no pretense, just a deep genuine love for music and a desire to share it.

Massive thanks to James Holt for taking the time to schlep to Sowerby Bridge to share his amazing talent and massive thanks to Julie and her lovely team at The Blind Pig Sowerby Bridge for allowing me to put on the gig.

I am really grateful to everyone who came along to support live music and this absolute gem of an independent music venue ♥️
