⭐ OUR SELECTION PROCESS
We know that you can't really find out whether a kitchen is for you by simply sitting across a table answering interview questions!
So, for shortlisted applicants, our selection process will be a little different.
We'll invite you into The Jockey to meet us and the kitchen team, have an informal chat and then spend approximately 2 hours with us in the kitchen as part of an unpaid recruitment assessment.
We're not expecting you to arrive knowing how to cook, that's the whole point of an apprenticeship!
We want to see how you get on in a real kitchen environment, how you interact with the team, how well you listen and follow instructions and, most importantly, whether you enjoy it and genuinely want to learn.
You'll also get the opportunity to see what working in our kitchen is really like and decide whether Team Jockey is right for you too.
We're looking for attitude, enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn, we can teach you the rest.
Please share as the right person may simply be waiting for the chance to begin a career in the kitchen.

Many thanks, Nikki and Mark ☺️
