We are a family friendly, seventh generation owned local village pub. The Fromeway is a friendly, family run pub in Radstock, near Bath.

We offer delicious and ever changing seasonal menus, quality drinks, friendly vibes and comfortable, contemporary rooms. Food is served daily both in the bar and in the large airy restaurant that overlooks the award winning garden. The menu has something for everyone and contains old favourites such as faggots, sausages and steaks whilst the specials board offers seasonal meat, fish and vegetarian

options. The bar has a modern but cosy feel with an interesting collection of old photographs on the walls. If you enjoy a good quality pint of real ale then the Fromeway is the ideal place for you to visit. The pub can be found in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide and has Butcombe bitter and Wadworth’s 6X regularly on offer. A wide selection of guest beers appear on the pumps as well. The Fromeway has a separate room that is always in use for meetings, craft groups and small family parties. The Fromeway also offers quality, affordable accommodation. There are three lovely bedrooms all of which have en-suite, flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.

After a summer off, Alex and Eleasha are back and ready to test those big brains of yours...so what better way to commemorate the start of a new term than with a couple of Back to School rounds, including all your favourite school subjects, followed up by our last place team's Guest round of choice from last term, Glam Rock of the 70s!!! 👩‍🏫🎓🤘👨‍🎤

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS HARE...?! 🐰

Over the weekend our beloved golden hare seemed to hop out of the bar and into the big wide world without a trace...

So whodunnit then??!! The mystery prevails and we have our best detective on the case (Kath), but we'd love to see Hopper safely returned to his rightful home. 🏠

There will be a handsome reward for his safe return (did someone say ironing and folding the B&B bed linens?!) No questions asked 😉

Edit: He was last seen 28th AUGUST...he hasn't figured out how to time hop just yet 🫣

The sun's gone in and there's a (very) slight chill in the air, so that can only mean one thing...Christmas is approaching!! 🎄💫

Yep, you've read that right and no, it's not too early! We've had a singular drop of rain and temperatures dipping below 30 degrees and it seems we're ready to talk Christmas 🫣

Our bar and restaurant will be closed tomorrow lunchtime whilst we have some new kitchen equipment installed, but don't worry, we'll be open as usual from 5pm for food and drink!

Why not pop in and quench your thirst in the heatwave with an Aperol spritz, or tuck in to one of our Greek-style lamb gyros in the sunshine 🌞

If you're anything like us then it's never too hot for a Roast (discuss...)! So we've created a dedicated time slot to Takeaways this Sunday (2 - 2.30pm) so you can enjoy our ever popular Roast in the comfort and, hopefully cool, of your own garden or home.

To book, give us a call, send us a message or book online stating "Takeaway" and your order in the booking notes.

This week our Roasts are:

Roast Topside of Beef
Slow roasted leg of Lamb
Slow roasted Belly Pork with Crackling
Roasted Chicken Supreme with sage and onion stuffing
House Nut Roast

All of the above are served with our epic House Gravy (iykyk) or our rich, vegetable gravy and a generous helping of lovingly prepared seasonal vegetables. We'd also recommend adding a side of our epic Cauli cheese too, you won't regret it.

Alternatively, you can come and eat in as usual and let us look after you in the comfort of our (temporarily) air conditioned restaurant - book online as usual.

We're showing the World Cup quarter final England v. Norway at 10pm this Saturday!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇳🇴

Can our boys take down the infamous Striking Viking and secure a place in the semi finals...? Only time will tell, but we've got our full faith in the team 🙏🦁

Our kitchen's open until 8:30pm if you want to order any pre kick-off bites like chips and nachos, but our selection of bar snacks are available all evening. We might even have a special football themed guest ale on for the occasion 👀

And perhaps in even more exciting news...our aircon unit is BACK as of tomorrow!!! So you can enjoy the game in slightly less heated circumstances (in theory 😉)
