April is stunning, sweet and just a little bit delightfully eccentric. She’s an airline stewardess who lights up every room she walks into… even if she’s not entirely sure why everyone else is laughing.

We asked Sophie some questions:

What is your favourite musical?
“All sondheim”

What is your favourite song from Company?
“ Being Alive /Marry Me a Little”

Why should people come to watch Company?
“Its a funny, heartfelt musical that explores love, relationships, and the question we all ask ourselves: Are we ever really ready to settle down? It's a touching story full of heart, and moments that will stay with you long after the curtain falls”

🍸MEET JOANNE & LARRY

We are pleased to announce our final couple: Joanne and Larry played by Sarah Thewlis and Phil Harrison!

Joanne is glamorous, wealthy, wonderfully sharp-tongued and almost always has a martini within arm’s reach. She tells it exactly as it is… whether anyone asked for her opinion or not!
Larry is Joanne’s husband — charming, successful and with a clearly excellent sense of humour. Living with Joanne would require one! 🍸

We asked Phil and Sarah a few questions about Company…

🎭 Favourite musical?
Phil: “The King and I or Ragtime”
Sarah: “Usually whatever show I’m in at the time, but The Sound of Music has always had a place in my heart”

🎶 Favourite song in Company?
Phil: “You Can Drive a Person Crazy or Getting Married Today — both are hilarious!”
Sarah: “Marry Me a Little”

❤️ Why should people come and see Company?
Phil: “The show provides loads of laughs, heart and fun. It’s a great showcase of local talent.”
Sarah: “It’s Sondheim!”

Meet another couple from our cast! 💍

Susan played by Katie Zobenica and Peter by Jack Martin!

Susan appears to have life completely under control. Calm, thoughtful and ready for a fresh start, she’s one of Bobby’s closest friends, but beneath that calm exterior, she’s got a few surprises of her own. Peter is confident, perceptive and never afraid to ask the question everyone else is carefully avoiding. Sometimes all it takes is one conversation to make Bobby rethink everything.

We asked them:

What is your favourite musical?
Jack - Little Shop of Horrors
Katie- Phantom of the opera

What is your favourite song from company ?
Jack- I’m not getting married today
Katie- Being Alive

Why should people come and watch the show?

Jack- You should come and watch Company to see the complexities of relationships demonstrated in many forms with beautiful harmonies.

Katie- It’s such a unique show, full of great stories about all kinds of relationships. You should come and watch it because it’s technically brilliant, beautifully performed, and unlike anything else.

🎭 COMPANY: WHICH VERSION IS YOUR FAVOURITE? 💍🍸

Few musicals have been revived and reimagined quite as often as Stephen Sondheim’s Company.

From the original Broadway production, through the acclaimed 1995 Donmar Warehouse revival, the 2006 Broadway production starring Raúl Esparza, the 2011 New York Philharmonic concert production with Neil Patrick Harris (can you spot the Oscar winning ensemble member?), the gender-swapped revival with Rosalie Craig in London, or even the 2022 Spanish production starring Antonio Banderas, every generation seems to find its own Company.

So, Sondheim fans… which production of Company is YOUR favourite, and why?

Is there a particular Bobby you loved? A version of Being Alive that has never been bettered? Or simply a production whose interpretation of the show really connected with you?

We’d love to hear your choices, because from September 29th to October 3rd, we’ll be performing our own version of Company ❤️

ACT NOMINATIONS 2026! 💗✨

We are absolutely thrilled to announce PADOS’ nominations for the 2026 ACT Youth and Drama Musical Awards!

It is always such an honour to have the hard work, dedication and creativity that goes into every production recognised. Each show is a true team effort, and these celebrations give us the chance to share our love of theatre together.

As always, we are incredibly grateful to our ACT representative, Rebecca. It is always a pleasure to welcome you to our productions, and we truly appreciate your continued support and encouragement.

We are so proud of everyone involved and can’t wait to celebrate these wonderful achievements! 🎭
