Wow it’s brilliant people loving and sharing pictures on here from what were great and truly memorable Bridge Inn times !!!!!
The Pub plus many wonderful regulars have also sadly gone but and will never ever be forgotten and stay in our hearts ❤️❤️❤️

What a beautiful Spring Bank Holiday morning!!! Can’t help but reminisce of the wonderful ones we had at the Bridge inn Walton le dale memories wonderful unforgettable memories. !!!!! The Crowds the inc plastic glasses, outside loos, the barbecue, Fred’s Big Burger 😃the ATMOSPHERE wa amazing and Gosh it would have been brilliant today!! ☀️☀️

I had a wonderful conversation with a man today called Martin who happened to be the grandson of Ann Riding who was the landlady of the Bridge Inn in the 40s/50s it was great to talk to him . He was shocked I knew about his Auntie Mary who had died in the Bridge Inn when she fell carrying something hot in a pan and it went all over her and she died with the shock. He confirmed it was rice pudding. Her Spirit was always at the Bridge along with a few others and I don’t mean those in bottles ha ha there were so many memories and mystery’s in that wonderful building that was the Bridge Inn. If those walls could have talked .
I have not wrote anything on this wall for a while and it is great to see people still look at these pages.
Please if anyone would like to put anything on here it would be great. Any stories, memories or photos would be wonderful to keep Bridge Inn Memories going. Many thanks Barbara xx
