Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding today while we took some time to celebrate John’s life alongside his family and friends.

We will be reopening to the public from 7pm this evening.

John was always out cutting the grass. He took such great pride in keeping everything looking its best, and ever since we bought this lawnmower, John was the only person who used it.

So today, we did something special… we put John’s name on his lawnmower.

That way, every time the grass is cut, a little piece of John will still be here with us — and John can carry on cutting his grass for many years to come.

Rest easy now, John.
You’ll never be forgotten.

💙 WHAT A SUMMER IT’S BEEN! 💙

As summer draws to a close, we just want to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to every single visitor, guest, family and customer who has walked through our doors at Ffrith Park this summer.

And wow… what a summer it’s been! 🥹❤️

From live music 🎶 and bingo, to bowling 🎳, live sports ⚽ and, of course, our brand-new amusement arcade 🕹️ — we’ve loved seeing Ffrith Park buzzing with people, laughter and memories being made.

This summer has also brought some difficult moments for us as a team and our Ffrith Park family. We sadly lost John, our much-loved warden, and his loss has been felt deeply by so many of us. John was a familiar and friendly face around the park, and he will be greatly missed. ❤️

Over the past few years, we’ve made some huge investments into Ffrith Park, and seeing so many of you enjoying what we’ve created makes every bit of it worthwhile.

But here’s the exciting part…

WE’RE NOT FINISHED YET! 👀

Our vision has always been to make Ffrith Park a place where you can come and enjoy yourself whether you’re staying with us on the Touring Site, relaxing in one of our Glamping Pods, or simply visiting for the day.

And we’ve got BIG plans for the future. 🚀

There’s still plenty more to come, more improvements to make, more memories to create and more reasons to visit.

So, from everyone here at Ffrith Park…

Anyone who knew John is more than welcome to come along to his Service and then to his Celebration of Life, which will be held at Ffrith Park on Thursday 3rd September.

On this day, we will be closed to the general public while we take the time to remember John. This includes Astro Bowl and Ffrith Park Amusements.

We would like to thank all our customers for their understanding as John’s family, friends and our team come together to remember him.

Astro Bowl and Ffrith Park Amusements will reopen at 7pm on Thursday 3rd September.
