A little further afield are the famous castles of Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris, the mountains and lakes of the Snowdonia National Park, and the Blue Flag beaches of Anglesey. The Roman City of Chester, famous for its heritage attractions and shopping, is less than an hour's drive away. Many of our visitors will enjoy the fine selection of golf courses in the area. St.Melyd Golf Course is a testing parkland course just five minutes walk from "The Red". Prestatyn Golf Club is under two miles away and has a fine championship links.
