⚠ A Clarification We Believe Is Important !

We normally let our reviews speak for themselves. We welcome honest feedback including criticism because no restaurant gets everything right and when we genuinely make a mistake we believe in acknowledging it and make it right.

However, on this occasion we feel it is important to clarify what actually happened.

Our delivery service currently covers PO1–PO5 only. The address provided for this order was PO33 which is outside our delivery area. We explained this to the customer politely and clearly and therefore could not accept the delivery order.

We completely understand that this may have been disappointing. What we cannot accept however, is being accused of refusing an order after a conversation that did not take place in the manner described in the review.

We are also a busy restaurant, particularly at weekends and whilst we always do our best to serve everyone efficiently and respectfully. Being busy does not give us an excuse to be rude — nor does it justify a claim that our staff were aggressive when they were simply explaining our delivery policy.

We take every review seriously, especially negative ones. If we get something wrong, we will own it. We have never been interested in hiding genuine mistakes or criticism.

But there is an important difference between fair criticism and an accusation that does not accurately reflect what happened!
