Welcome to the King Street Tavern (circa 1859) home of Portsmouth's only genuine Smokehouse. First established as The Diamond in 1859 the pub has been catering for Portsmouth's residence & visitors ever since. As the current owners our tenure of this beautiful hidden gem began in 2016 & after completing a sensitive refurbishment we began serving Portsmouth's community with an eclectic mix of craft

& traditional drinks complimented by our authentic smoked & wood-fired dishes. It wasn't long before our passion for delivering authentic food & friendly hospitality got us noticed & we have been lucky enough to been the recipients of several national accolades for food & service.
