💗 Supporting a charity making a real difference to families in need 💗
We’re incredibly proud to have recently donated to a wonderful cause that provides vital support to mums and families across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey.
The charity provides birth pools completely free of charge to women who would otherwise struggle to afford one. Even more importantly, for mums who are fleeing or experiencing domestic abuse, they cover the cost of a full birth kit — including the pool liner, pumps, hoses and everything needed — worth up to £100 per kit.
But the support doesn’t stop there. 💕
Mums receive a hamper for their new baby, while any children they already have are given a backpack filled with essentials such as underwear, pyjamas, nappies, hygiene products and toys.
Working alongside local midwives, and with the support of the NHS, this incredible service can give women experiencing domestic abuse something that can be taken away from them in so many other areas of their lives: choice and control over their birth.
Since 2023, around 300 families have been supported, saving families an estimated £58,000 in birth pool hire alone.
We’re so pleased that our donation can contribute towards such meaningful, practical support. It’s a brilliant example of how a donation can go directly towards helping families at a time when they need it most. ❤️
