Wow. Just wow.

As many of you will know by now, our friend and regular, Brian, sadly had his home burgled and lost a number of valuable items, including his life savings.

Wanting to help, the amazing Tracey set up a GoFundMe page and worked tirelessly alongside others to organise a charity fun day here at The Cross Keys.
With live music, raffles, blackouts, an auction, and so many generous donations from local businesses and individuals (over 100 prizes!!), the community came together in a truly incredible way.

We’re delighted to share that together we raised:

🎟️ Raffle: £1,405
🔨 Auction: £556
❤️ GoFundMe: £3,310

Giving us an extraordinary grand total of £5,271, with every penny going to Brian.

This is an absolutely phenomenal achievement and a real testament to the kindness, generosity and community spirit of the people of Paulsgrove and beyond. When one of our own needs help, people step up, and this weekend proved exactly that.

To everyone who donated, bought raffle tickets, bid in the auction, attended the event, donated prizes, performed, volunteered their time, or simply helped spread the word, thank you.
Every single contribution made a difference.

A special thank you must go to Tracey for her hard work, dedication and determination in making all of this happen.
And also to our amazing barmaids that day, Hayley & Scarlett. It was a busy day and you done great 💚

We are incredibly proud to be part of such a caring and supportive community.

This Saturday, The Cross Keys will be hosting a charity fun day in aid of our friend and regular, Brian Harris, who sadly had his home burgled.

The support from our local community has been nothing short of amazing. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we’ve already raised an incredible amount through the GoFundMe, and we’re hoping to add even more with our raffle on Saturday.

We’ve got some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including hotel stays, tattoo vouchers, hairdressing services, gift hampers, bottles of booze and plenty more!

🎟️ There are only a few raffle tickets remaining, so if you’d like to be in with a chance of winning, make sure you get to the pub early before they sell out.

🍻 Doors open at 2pm, so come down, grab a drink, get settled in and enjoy the afternoon with us.

🎤 Mary Red will be singing live from 4pm to 6pm, followed by the raffle draw and then we’ll be finishing the night with a disco.

Let’s make it a brilliant day for a genuinely lovely bloke who’s been part of The Cross Keys family for years. We can’t wait to see you all there 🍻
