📢 Wow. Just wow!

🍻We opened our doors on Wednesday hoping to meet a few faces, but the welcome we’ve received from the village over the last few days has completely blown us away!

Thank you so much to everyone who popped in, introduced themselves, and filled the room with such brilliant energy and great chat.
Seeing the pub full of neighbours having fun has been the best start we could have ever asked for.

A couple of quick updates as we find our feet:
🍳 The Kitchen: It is still closed while we finish setting everything up behind the scenes. We'll let you know as soon as the food is ready to roll!
🗓️ Mondays: While we would love to be open every single day, we need a bit of time to rest, restock, and keep setting up the pub.

Because of this, we have decided to close on Mondays for the time being.

Thank you again for making us feel so incredibly welcome. Cheers to many more nights like the last few! 🥂✨

We are officially opening the doors under new management TODAY at 4:00 PM.
Whether you’re a familiar face or dropping in for the very first time, we can’t wait to welcome you back to your local.
Come on in, grab a seat, say hello, and let’s raise a glass to a brand new chapter!

Our kitchen is taking just a little bit longer to get ready, so food won't be available just yet. We’re working as fast as we can to get the chefs fired up, and we’ll let you know the second the menu is live.Come join us for a pint or a glass of wine to celebrate day one! 🍺🍷

After much thought, we have decided that today will be our final day at The Portskewett Inn before we leave on Monday.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who has supported us over the last 14 months. To our amazing staff, loyal customers, local suppliers, entertainers, quiz hosts, and everyone who walked through our doors – thank you.

When we arrived, our goal was to help bring a community pub back to life, and we couldn’t have done it without your support, encouragement, and friendship along the way. We have shared so many great memories, laughs, celebrations, and challenges together, and we will always be grateful for the warm welcome we received from the Portskewett community.

While it’s time for us to move on to our next chapter, The Portskewett Inn will always hold a special place in our hearts.

A huge thank you to our amazing Bar Supervisor, Suzie, for everything she has done over the last 14 months. ❤️

From the very first day we got the keys to The Portskewett Inn, Suzie was there helping us clean, prepare, and get everything ready to open our doors. Since then, she has been a huge part of our team, working tirelessly behind the bar, supporting the business, and helping to create so many great memories for our customers.

As we prepare to leave, we wanted to take a moment to show our appreciation for all of her hard work, dedication, loyalty, and friendship. Our new pub simply won’t be the same without her.

We are incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done, Suzie, and we wish you all the very best in your new role at The Dragonfly. They are gaining a fantastic member of staff, and we know you’ll be amazing.

A huge thank you to Caroline Blake for everything she has done for us over the last 14 months at The Portskewett Inn.

From hosting our quiz nights and bringing everyone together for some friendly competition, to entertaining us with her fantastic singing at our events, Caroline has been a massive part of our community and has helped create so many great memories.

Your dedication, time, talent and support have been truly appreciated by both ourselves and our customers. Thank you for all the laughter, music and fun you’ve brought to The Portskewett Inn.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us yesterday for our final day of food service. We truly appreciate all of your support, kind words, and custom throughout our time here at The Portskewett Inn.

Just a reminder that our kitchen is now officially closed. The pub will remain open this week for drinks only, so please do pop in and join us for a drink before we leave.

Thank you once again to our wonderful customers, friends, and the local community for all your support. It has meant so much to us.
