Our team had an incredible time last week at the Scottish Gin Awards, proudly representing Inverclyde Gin⚓️.

Making it to the finals in the old tom category, we went head-to-head with some heavy hitters and tough competition in the industry.

A big shout-out to the Angels Dare team, rocking the much-deserved RTD Product of the Year🤍

Being part of such an amazing industry and participating in events like this fills us with pride. We can't wait to see what the future holds🥂

👋Saying Farewell to Megan, Our Brand and Marketing Extraordinaire👋

Today, we bid a heartfelt goodbye to our incredible Brand and Marketing Manager, Megan. It's a bittersweet farewell as we reflect on the extraordinary journey she has had here at The Start-Up Drinks Lab!

Over the past year, Megan has achieved so much, but the most merorable has to be collaborating with the big household names and watching Inverclyde Gin flourish and grow has also been truly amazing.

Megan's favorite part of the job was the creative freedom she had to take Inverclyde Gin to new heights, and oh, how she soared!

Megan has played a pivotal role in the growth of Inverclyde Gin in the past year, leaving an indelible mark on the brand and the drinks lab team🌟

It's been a Gin-Tastic Ride, and you will be sorely missed by all of us💙

Join us in congratulating our Production Manager Andy on his amazing journey as he reaches a significant milestone here at The Start-Up Drinks Lab. It's hard to believe it has been 5 years since he joined us back in 2018!

From the humble beginning as a production apprentice to now holding the role of production manager, Andy's journey has been nothing short of inspiring. From day one, we have witnessed his unwavering commitment and passion for The Start-Up Drinks Lab. Through countless late nights, tight deadlines, and complex challenges, Andy has consistently risen to the occasion with a smile on his face and a can-do attitude. His dedication and perseverance have inspired all of us to push boundaries and strive for greatness. His contributions have been instrumental in transforming our start-up into a recognized force in the industry.

We also would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the amazing tean ASK Italian Glasgow for their generous support and creating a lovely afternoon for our team. Their contribution has made this celebration even more special. We appreciate their partnership and the role they played in making this milestone event memorable🙌

Our Story

SMALL BATCH BOTTLING FACILITY PRODUCING CRAFT SODAS, MIXERS, RTDS, BEERS AND CIDERS.

The Start-Up Drinks Lab is an exciting, mould-breaking business that launched June 2018. Based just outside of Glasgow, we are small batch bottling facility producing craft sodas, mixers, RTDs, beers and ciders for brands all around the UK. We are here to ensure all great craft drink ideas can make it to market. We offer help at all stages along the way, from concept through to shelf. Our services include recipe development, branding and small batching bottling.

The Start-Up Drinks Lab was created to solve the problem faced by the hundreds of small, craft drink producers that exist throughout the UK and into Europe. Given their smaller volumes, they find it incredibly difficult to find a 3rd party manufacturer who can accept their lower volume runs. We, the 2 founders of The Lab, also have our own individual craft soda businesses; so, we can relate to this challenge and feel passionately about solving it. Hence, The Lab was born!
