The Boars Head

The Boars Head Bar, Restaurant & Coffee Shop We have several rooms, each with its own character. We have a varied menu of beautifully cooked and carefully presented dishes.

One bar serves the whole pub, with ten hand pumps offering an ever-changing range of up to 7 real ales and one cider. Themed food nights are popular, with curries on Tuesdays and Pie & Pint on Wednesdays. Sunday lunches are busy and booking is advised, 12.00 noon and 2 pm sittings. A new extension to the building in 2015, overlooking the garden, serves as a very comfortable coffee-shop during the

day (Piglets) and additional seating for the pub in the evenings. It has also become very popular for functions in the evening, seating up to 25. A direct path to/from Pontyclun railway station cuts through a small industrial area.

The lovely committee of Tylagarw Village Hall is putting a free bus for the Cotswold Show & Food Festival for residents of Tyla Garw!

Tickets are £15.00 each that will be refunded on the bus on the day. Entry to the show is £20 or you can just have a day out in Cirencester.

Want to bring a friend that doesn’t live in the village? That’s fine but the £15.00 will not be refunded.

9am pick up from The Boars Head and return 5pm.

Cash only please to make it easier to refund the money. Tickets available from The Boars Head or Truffles.

However, again this year we are sticking to the policy of not reserving tables outside. This is the only way we can be fair, it’s on a first come basis.
