We are heartbroken by the sudden passing of Nathan, known and loved by so many as Lord Nath. 🖤
In August, Nath Ben brought Northern Soul back to The Malt Shovel with a bang. He filled our pub with fantastic music, energy and laughter, making our Northern Soul afternoons something everyone looked forward to. Two months of greatness, and memories we will always treasure.
Nath had a gift for bringing people together. He was the life and soul of the room, and his kindness extended far beyond the music. Supporting local businesses, helping others and fundraising came naturally to him. He was so well respected, and it’s easy to understand why.
We feel privileged to have worked alongside him. We just wish there had been more time, more afternoons and more records to enjoy together. In those two months, he became a special part of life at The Malt Shovel, and we will miss having him here.
Our hearts go out to his family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him. We’re thinking of you all during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you, Nath, for the music, the laughter and everything you brought to our pub. From all the team and your friends here at The Malt Shovel, you will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Rest in peace, Lord Nath. Top Bloke! Keep the Faith!🖤
