I can make existing loft hatches bigger usually to customer spec and make new hatch to suit out of timber with new aluminium 3 section ladder or timber fold down ladder if it will fit .

Also got some 2x1 treated timber about 10 lengths mostly 3 mtr and 3 x 4x2 treated timber at 3mtr need gone will deliver...

Got some spare knotted ceder wood here what was left from doing my bar its 3.7 mtr long x 145mm wide, please note there's various sizes as some cut down, got tongue and groove on but some edges may be damaged i would say 30+ lengths collection only £50

Afternoon peeps another job boxed off a few weeks ago in pen*stone for georgi and simon, loft hatch extended and new 3 section timber ladder installed, loft floor raised and stregthened, new 100 mm top up insulation and then boarded approximately 20 sqr mtrs then to top it off we put in a 4 foot florescent light to a plug which lit the full loft nicely.
Another happy customer 😁

Evening everyone showing the most recent job done in south kirkby for Alice and kyle, this one was done in 2 stages, we firstly moved the loft hatch into a bedroom as the original was letterbox size and useless at top of landing.
The hatch was made large enough to use the 3 section timber ladder, we then returned a week or so later to raise the floor in the loft and reinsulate with 100mm top up insulation the board the whole loft.
Was a very mucky and warm job but the result speak for them selves.
Another very happy customer 😁 and just want to say thankyou for looking after us with cold drinks etc..... Was our pleasure.

Evening everyone another job boxed off yesterday for Ry in south elmsall ,another hot one but job turned out brill .
Job consisted of cutting a new opening and making a new hatch to suit on site out of timber further down the landing and boarding up the one ready to be skimmed over at a later date, we then raised the centre of loft from the new hatch to the wall reinsulated between our joists and boarded it to customer spec.
Another happy customer .

How do everyone , showing another job done on sat the 11th may in ponte for Stuart and Laura.
The job consisted of enlarging the existing loft hatch enabling us to supply and fit a brand new 3 section timber ladder ,we then raised the centre of the loft on 4x2 timbers allowing us to relay the insulation before boarding the centre of the loft .
To maximise space we then installed some shelving in the trusses.
All done in the day ( hottest this year rate laugh ) but job done and another happy customer .

Right guys I would just like to thank all my customers from this year and previous yrs for choosing a local lad to do there lofts for them ,I've met some really nice customers and loved seeing their faces when myself and brother have transformed their lofts , or just making access alot easier for them by enlarging their loft hatches .
I'm hoping 2024 is the same so to all the gents out there that have struggled getting Xmas Dec's and trees out this Yr don't struggle next Yr lol get in touch .

Evening peeps this job was done over 2 weekends as it was quite big for Paul and Jackie in Upton ,on the first weekend we enlarged the existing loft hatch to install a 3 section timber ladder ,we also organised a sparky to put a light to a switch and a double socket up in the loft before we started to board .
The 2nd weekend was to raise the floor on 4x2 timbers ,fully insulate the whole loft in 100mm top up insulation and went on to board approx 40sqr mtrs of loft space then install the new ladder it was a long day on sat and can't thank Paul and Jackie enough for their patience as we were there quite late lol ,they were over the moon with job as we were too looked Brill when it was finished please look at the transformation 😀

Hi everyone showing a job that was done in November for Monica in South Elmsall we installed a new timber 3 section ladder in a bedroom as this was where the peak of the roof was so made getting in the loft alot easier for the customer the old hatch was left as is just as another way in if needed , another happy customer cheers Monica for looking after us 😀

Hi everyone not posted for a while been lazy lol so sorry for that but here are a few jobs done over the last few months.
This one was for Claire in ponte she had some stairs already installed on the landing but they were unsafe and wide open all year as they were for a room upstairs that was rarely used so made the house cold .
We removed the unsafe stairs and installed a 3 section timber ladder slightly to one side so the ladders fell in a better place on the landing and plaster boarded round ready to be skimmed up allowing customer to use as and when and stop the cold coming from loft through the house .
Another happy customer and a warmer house from now on .
