Every club has those people…

The ones who always say hello.

Who’ll happily dance with anyone.

Who make you laugh when you’ve completely forgotten what your feet are supposed to be doing.

Or who quietly make someone’s evening better without even realising it.

At our Christmas Party on 19 December, we’ll be celebrating one of those people with our Members’ Member award.

So here’s something to think about…

Who makes a difference to YOUR Monday nights?

No need to tell us just yet. Start thinking about who deserves your vote!

And don’t forget our Christmas Party:

Saturday 19 December
7.30pm–midnight
Welcome drink, our much-loved two-course buffet and plenty of dancing.

£25 members | £28 non-members

Something tells us Monday night might look a little different this week…

Ruth’s getting into the Halloween spirit and is planning to dress up!

So, if you fancy joining her, go for it.

Witches, vampires, skeletons… or just your usual dancing shoes. Anything goes!

Fancy dress is completely optional. The dancing isn’t changing, although we can’t promise there won’t be a few unusual characters on the floor.

See you tomorrow night!

Give a little jive this Christmas!

A new skill, new friendships and something to look forward to—a dance class is a gift that can bring joy throughout the year, and for years to come. A present to enjoy long after the decorations come down.

We know. It’s only October.

But some nights are worth getting in the diary early. …..THE JIVE HIVE CHRISTMAS PARTY!

We’re bringing back our Christmas celebration with:

A welcome drink.
Our much-loved TWO-COURSE BUFFET.
A whole evening of dancing.
An excuse to dress up.
And the chance to vote for our Members’ Member of the Year.

All the things that make a good Jive Hive night, with a little extra Christmas sparkle.

NEW HERE? WE’VE GOT YOU.

Ever been somewhere new and felt like everyone else knows exactly what they’re doing?

We don’t want that at Jive Hive.

That’s why our New Bees get a little extra attention.

We learn your name.
We introduce you to people.
We change partners during lessons so you can come alone.
And there’s one-to-one help available when you need it.

You won’t be expected to keep up with people who’ve been dancing for years.

You’ll be encouraged to learn at your own pace, have a laugh and enjoy yourself.

Because everyone was a beginner once.

So… who’s going to be sneaking a little Tango into their Jive tonight?

After Saturday’s fantastic workshop with Flavio & Richard, we’ve got a feeling there might be a few new ideas appearing on the dance floor!

That’s what we love about learning different dance styles. You take away something new, experiment with it and make it your own.

And if you missed Saturday, don’t worry. There’s always something new to learn at the Hive.

Same friendly faces. Same great atmosphere. Maybe a few new moves!

A little tango, a whole lot of energy and plenty of happy dancers!

Huge thanks to Flavio & Richard for an incredible workshop and a spectacular showcase of freestyle and choreographed tango. It was a real treat to experience the passion, flair and excitement up close!

We loved seeing so many of you embrace a new dance style, learn new moves and give tango a go together. The dance floor was buzzing!

And thank you for all the wonderful feedback about the music — we’re thrilled you enjoyed it as much as we did.

What a fantastic night at Jive Hive! Remember to book your Christmas party spot on 19th December - it’ll be another corker!

Monday again. Same old routine?

Not at the Hive.

A few hours away from the usual responsibilities, some great music, a bit of exercise and plenty of dancing.

No emails. No washing up. No wondering what to watch on television.

Just you, the music and a room full of people who enjoy exactly the same thing.

And the best part? You don’t have to be good at it to enjoy it.

Already one of our regulars? We look forward to seeing you tonight.

Never been before? Your first night is just £3.

A little change to Saturday’s line-up!

Matt’s hurt his back, so we’re wishing him a speedy recovery. Stepping in alongside Flavio is the fabulous Richard! Believe me you won’t be disappointed.

Check him out in the video—then join us on the dance floor!
