Wow. You Weirdos.

I can't thank all of you who've been a part of our merrie crew over the past TWENTY-SEVEN years enough 🥰

For those who've come and gone (either through shuffling a mortal coil, moving away, or just gone off in a sulk because we don't always play what you like), I salute each and every one of you.

For those still 'ere, it's highly unlikely I'll manage another 27 (although, y'never know), but I hope someone will, 'cos without weirdos the world would be a much duller place.

There's never been more need for cooperation and fun times together to help stamp out this blight of competition which is currently in danger of poisoning the alternative scene for some reason I can't explain.

So here's to ye true misfits, oddballs and square-pegs, and much love to you who've kept all this going and the magic alive.

Just wanna reiterate me thankies to everyone who ever comes along to Weirdos at The Fortescue. As someone who doesn't go out and dance on tables as often as I used to, it's a wonderful way for me to catch-up with dear people under the umbrella of playing mad tunes some of us wanna hear, have a bit of a yap and a boogie, and meet new faces too. Turns out it's been going on longer than I'd thought (27 years), and the support you lovelies give has been nothing short of a joy and an inspiration. We've a few months left now, so I'll plonk the dates up. If you've ne'er been before, but fancy giving it a whirl, you'll find the Weirdos regulars to be a delightful and welcoming crew. No cliques, and an open door, as such punky (and other such offshoots) shenanigans should be.
