To all of our customers, it is with a very heavy heart and in deep sorrow that we write this message.

We have closed our doors for the final time.

We tried so hard to battle on, but unfortunately we never recovered from the pandemic, with the cost of living crisis and spiralling energy costs, our trade has decreased substantially, and our overheads have massively increased - meaning our business is no longer viable, on top of all this, our wonderful landlord tragically passed away, leaving us unable to sell the business, due to probate and lease issues. It’s been a tough and torrid end to a business we have poured everything we have, into, a business we loved and we’re very proud of.
We are therefore devastated to have had to close with immediate effect.

We would like to thank all of our customers and suppliers who have supported us. We have met some amazing people and made some wonderful friends.

Most importantly we would like to say a special thank you to all of our incredible staff, past and present, for their constant hard work and unwavering support and loyalty, especially in the last 3 years which at times has not been an easy ride! We will miss you all hugely and wish you every success and happiness in your next journey:

For us, this particular journey has ended. We are taking a well earned break, visiting relatives and then rebuilding our new life.

Join our kitchen team!
We are recruiting a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef for our kitchen to start as soon as possible.
This role would suit an ambitious, creative, and passionate individual who's a great team player, pays attention to detail, and keen to progress their career in a long-established city centre restaurant with an excellent reputation for delicious food, service and exciting wines and a wonderful team.
We make almost everything from scratch using local produce from our fabulous regional suppliers so it's the ideal environment for a budding chef to hone their skills and progress their cheffing career.
The prospective candidate must have suitable kitchen experience. Weekly pay plus tips.
Generally work will be split shifts over four days a week Wednesday -Saturdays.
