After discussion with the family, it has been decided to delay the draw for the raffle until April. This will allow for money to be raised for the two charities. There will be raffle books going out with members of families for those who cannot access the social media.

Good evening everyone,

I have created this page in the legacy of the amazing Rose who worked within HMNB Devonport for many years.

We are renaming the Junior rates bar as Rosies Bar to leave a legacy of the lady who touched so many hearts and souls within HMNB Devonport before she was taken away from us all by cancer.

We planned on having a huge opening of the renaming where all family, friends and people who knew Rose could have came to raise money for the 2 charities.

1. ST Lukes Hospice Plymouth- who cared for rose and her family until the very last minute and gave fantastic support.

2. The Royal Navy and Royal Marines charity- who paid for the full upgrade of the all the equipment in the bar ready for our renaming ceremony.

However due to Covid we are unable to have this night now. So the organiser of the event has planned a different approach to raise money for these two charities.

So instead there will be a raffle for some amazing prizes that have been donated by some of the kindest, most generous companies/businesses/people all over the UK and their support has absolutely blown us away. They have been happy to donate some Unreal prizes in a time that is hard for all businesses. However they habe answered the call and I will be listing all the prizes and the people behind the donations in my next post.
