Yesterday we celebrated Mark Hinman 15th year in the pub. How we pulled this off I will never know. Thankyou to each and every one of you that kept the surprise a secret, not sure how pinxton has managed this 😂
Not only did he get one surprise he ended up with 3🍻
Thankyou to all that attended shared a memory and had a drink with us
Thankyou to Carrie’s Kitchen for the lovely sandwiches
Thankyou to Angela Deakin for her “party” and everything you helped with
Thankyou to candy for the wonderful cake

Not bad for a man that never wants anything and hates surprises

15 years ago this man right here signed the papers to the village hall
15 whole years of hard work, laughter, community and so much commitment, this pub wouldn’t be what it is without you.
You stood behind this bar and stood your ground, made stories flow and where friends were found, you gave this place its core.
If anyone knows how to run a pub it’s this man right here. Not only proud to call you my dad but proud to call you the gaffa
