I'd like to Thank everyone for joining us for the Scotland v Haiti Football game, a good few loyal locals (especially T**s & Co who are straight back into the pub Sunday morning πŸ’–) & of course the young team (aka Station Savages) who all of course stayed til the bitter end πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» My sister & Mum for making the goodies, my super team of staff, the best (AMS Security Ltd) Door staff Team Sam & Gary, Disco Jim for entertaining us with Karaoke, Steph for doing all the hand outs, food lady & glass collector, Nicola for decorating the pub n dealing with the aftermath behind the bar on the Sunday & Abbie-Jo/Keiran for cleaning the morning after. It all comes together to make it all worth while 🌟πŸ₯°πŸ»

So the 1st photo is myself locking the door for the last time & terminating my lease with Stewart & Lindsay Aiken (The Waverley Hotel Ltd) πŸ˜”

Yes the rumours are true, I am giving up the lease......BUT......of course there's a but......

The 2nd photo is myself unlocking the door for the first time as 1 very proud owner. It's not been the easiest of transactions, it's been long, it's been VERY VERY stressful & I'm still wondering how did this even happen? πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€―

I've definitely made my Mum & Dad (although he's no longer with us), Donna, Andy, Max & Jak proud by finally making the purchase. They stick by me & help me in any way possible, I'm always forever grateful to have them by my side as my family (FindlaysπŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦/CoopersπŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦β€πŸ‘¦) 😘πŸ₯°β€οΈ

I'd also like to thank everyone who's in my life whether it's personal or business which includes all my amazing team of staff & all my LOYAL customers, who have never given up on me & continue to support me on however they do 😍πŸ₯°β€οΈ

My biggest thanks goes to Stewart & Lindsay for giving me the original lease opportunity, selling the property & always helping/supporting me throughout the years, Alex & Anne for supporting me & always being in the background when needed, the lenders (who can't be named for legal reasons), my fantastic financial advisor Jason, my amazing accountant Teresa, my solicitor Mhari & ESPECIALLY a MASSIVE THANKS to Trevor, he's the man who's stuck with me from close to day 1 (more or less 2 years ago) & without him none of this would have been possible. He's done everything for me, kept me calm when we were frustrated, gave me the advice I needed with the next solution/option & we've even enjoyed some laughs along the way. He's definitely been a big part of my life over the past 2 years & he's probably happier than I am now that it's all over.

It's quite amazing that someone so young (as an apprentice plumber) is able to rip out the old sink & tank that we had in the toilet & install this master piece by himself. We're all so happy to see the back of that stupid little sink that soaked the floor everytime the tap was turned on πŸŒŠπŸ’¦πŸšΏ

Some of our Venom recipes have changed AGAIN πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ from drinks being discontinued/not available from the suppliers to me over thinking πŸ’­ it creates me extra/additional work but it's worth it to give u options.

On a positive outcome after being asked several times, for several months for a Passionfruit Venom, I've finally managed to get 1 on the menu.
