Another week, another Furry Friend Friday!

Meet the small but mighty Chico, the 3.5 year old Teacup Pomeranian. This small little fur ball has a big personality and an even bigger coat on him. Precious right?? This little buddy has a bit of a backbone on him, but don’t worry, his bark is harsher than his bite (he wouldn’t dare hurt a fly)

Lovely meeting you little Chico. Hope to see you again soon feisty one!

You’ll never guess what day it is… it’s International Fish and Chip Day!!! As British as it could possibly get, right?

So, to celebrate this most prestigious of days, we have a new menu out! Not only that, Fish and Chips has been put on The King’s Head menu for the first time since we reopened!

What could be better?? Perhaps pairing it with a lovey glass of vino, but that’s just my preference

Alright cherubs, it’s time for Furry Friend Friday, everyone’s favourite day of the week! (I’m everyone. It’s my favourite)

Meet Iris. She is a Golden Doodle and she is, get ready for it, 9 years old! With a little puppy face like that I wouldn’t believe it. She has beautiful eyes, a beautiful coat, and an all the more beautiful nature. So gentle and sweet

It was lovely meeting you, little Iris. We hope to see you again!

Okay my darlings. It’s time for Furry Friend Friday

This week we have two big cuddle buddies. Meet Henry (9 years old) and Rupert (4 years old)
They are both happy chappy chocolate labs. Henry has is often called “happy Hen” due to his cheerful loving nature and Rupertis a cuddly teddy bear

We really appreciate Henry and Rupert’s parents for saying the King’s Head is their favourite place to go as it’s “all paws and gets lots of woofs” and make them feel at home. We are so grateful that our home is your home xx

Alright my lovelies. It’s time for Furry Friend Friday!

Everyone, meet Salem
Salem is a 9 month old XL Bully crossed with a Cane Corso. A beautiful combo if you ask us. Salem is a very calm, collected, distinguished gentleman if we do say so ourselves. He is used to the pub environment so got along very well here. Alongside being just lovely, he’s also very affectionate (a few of us got kisses)
Salem, darling, it was an honour to meet you and shake you by the paw and we hope to see you again soon

This weekend was all about celebration 🍾
We marked our first year 🎉, then had the pleasure to see CJ Hatt offsprings performance 🎸 🎶🎤 and on the top of it we were celebrating the one and only George birthday 🎂 🎁 Big THANK YOU to all of you who took the time to join and celebrating with us 🫶

Alright my darlings, it’s Furry Friend Friday. Let’s get to it!

These lovely littlens are Frankie and Lara, two beautiful sausage dogs (dachshunds, if you want to be formal, but we don’t). Like most other dogs we meet here, they are all about the snacks, very treat orientated, as they should be. However unlike most others, these two are very prepared. However, you ask? They come locked and loaded with their own beds, always ready to enjoy the full pub experience in their own comfort. Honestly, I wish I could do that too
