Our painting events are not stuffy formal fine art classes, but alternative fun art social experiences or as we say 'fun art at it's finest'! Join with your friends or take part solo, sip your favourite drink, chill and enjoy painting with one of our talented local artists. It's a colourful , casual party atmosphere where you'll leave your cares behind and end up with a one-of-a-kind painting created by you.

🎶 LIVE MUSIC THIS SATURDAY AT THE WINDMILL! 🎶

This weekend we’re delighted to welcome Three is Company to The Windmill for an evening of fantastic live acoustic music!

Three is Company are an acoustic trio who put their own distinctive spin on well-known classics from across the decades — taking songs you know and love and giving them a fresh, stripped-back acoustic feel. 🎸🎶

Fronting the trio is the brilliant Sara Ashley, a talented and engaging vocalist whose voice is perfectly suited to their relaxed acoustic style. Alongside the rest of the trio, expect great harmonies, familiar favourites and plenty of songs you’ll find yourself singing along to.

This Saturday we have the pleasure of welcoming 'Idle Hive' to the Windmill.

If you like a lively mix of indie, rock and crowd-pleasing favourites, these guys are well worth catching. They bring loads of energy, a great sound and exactly the kind of atmosphere we love on a Saturday night.

This Saturday we will be going all Spanish on you with fresh homemade Paella being cooked in our Patio Area. Couple this with a creative Tapas menu including a sharer board if you want to try a bit of everything and I think it's going to be worth joining us.

Spanish Lager Cruz Campo will be discounted during service, as will Sangria and Spanish Wine.

Then at 8pm we have DIVISION returning to the Windmill. It really does not get much better than that.

Glass of Sangria, homemade Paella, bit of Spanish guitar music, some lovely sunny weather and then DIVISION playing live from 8pm. Sounds pretty good to me.

'The Beast' is back!

'Rutland Beast' is back on at the Windmill.

'The Beast' a unique, strong ale with complex flavour made up of a combination of chocolate/coffee notes imparted by the coloured malts used in the brew and those of raisins and autumn fruits, created by special fermentation techniques. This is a beer that is incredibly moreish.

Lovely to have it back.

We’re delighted to welcome Brett and Loz Acoustic back to The Windmill this Saturday, 1st August, with an 8pm start! 🎶🍻

Brett and Loz last joined us back in March and delivered an absolutely cracking set packed with familiar songs, crowd pleasers and the kind of acoustic favourites that had everyone singing along. It was a brilliant night from start to finish, so inviting them back was an easy decision.

There’s something special about a great acoustic set in the pub — good music, a relaxed atmosphere, a few drinks and plenty of songs you know and love — and Brett and Loz certainly know how to create exactly that.

So if you joined us last time, you’ll already know what to expect. And if you missed them in March, this is your chance to see what all the fuss was about.
