Some snaps from a gorgeous midsummer wedding we had the privilege of performing at last night. Nestled in a beautiful setting down in Constantine, we danced the sun down with our notorious wedding arch, a full set of Dance and a riotous round of Tinner's Rabbit with the wedding guests. Congratulations to the happy couple, here's to many happy years together ❤️

What a wonderful way to kick-start Mazey week. Hope to share what we're up to later today.

It's all the fun at the Fair next Sunday! This week is Golowan week, and while we'll be sharing our planned escapades throughout the week, one of the Absolute highlights is being able to host some of our Morris Besties on the culmination of the Festival at Quay Fair in the newly refurbed St Anthony's Gardens

We're made up to be welcoming:

Dartmoor Border Morris
A fabulous energetic border side from the high misty Moors of Devon. Expect to be thrilled and amazed!

The Wad Morris
The most colourful side from the Southwest. If you think you've seen Morris before this ain't it. Performing a mixture of Border & Cotswold dances with precision & flair.

The Order Of The Geep Alternative Morris
Entering only their 3rd year, the Order of the Geep have brought a Rockstar edge to Border dancing
Their energetic dancing is bound to get the blood pumping.

Lowenek
Lowenek from Falmouth are in the midst of their first dance out season and have already made mark on the Cotswold scene with their thrilling jigs.

Carn Brea Morris together through thick and thin, we stand with Carn Brea in showing these young sides how it's done. Expect thoroughly entertaining classic Cotswold bops

Tatters Morris are a Border side from Redruth have a large youth contingent in their side, so come and see the kids show the grown-ups how it's done.

Pensans Morris - do we need to introduce ourselves? We are here to entertain and ride the waves of chaos with our mixture of nautical and classic dances.

Ahhh almost forgot but the gorgeous SUN reminded me! We'll be on home turf stomping where it all began back in May. Tonight, in our last pre-Golowan casual we will treat you to some uncrowded sticks, bells and a thoroughly good walloping. GEDDON! See you tonight?

Well it was a mammoth task, editing over 1000 photos down to a couple of hundred but it was a fun weekend in Hayle. Great to catch up with so many friends at the " Ale in Hayle" day of dance organised by Carn Brea Morris. Brilliant day & many thanks. Hope you like the action shots!

Carn Brea Morris organised the 4th annual " Ale in Hayle" at the Bird in hand Pub, part of the Hayle " Paradise Park complex. Amongst the many faces performing we danced with Carn Brea Morris, Tywardreath Morris, Trigg Morris, Pensans Morris, Heaps Morris from Bristol, Lowennek Morris...

This was such a lovely new event we danced at last month. As Morris Dancers we're always in Cosplay of sorts but the freedom for people to be themselves around similar minded people is so important 🌟🦩💃🏻

Organisers of a Pokémon & High Fantasy Festival in Falmouth say that cosplay allows people to present as their favourite characters in a safe space 🧝‍♀️❤️

Attendees say the mix of creativity and community has them calling for more events like this in Cornwall.
