The Social Media Monkey would like to take this opportunity to celebrate mother and Bo’s TWENTY-YEAR anniversary at The White Lion!

It’s truly impressive to see all the hard work they’ve put in - as well as the amazing staff - to keep the pub a fine, friendly town-centre boozer. It blows my mind considering all the changes the pub trade has faced over the years.

The pub will be closed tonight (Sunday) so mother, Bo, and the team can raise a glass and celebrate this fantastic achievement.

Your intrepid Social Media Monkey is in China. This explains the distinct lack of updates here for a while. Anyway, the other day, at the airport, I saw a KARAOKE BOOTH! So, yeah. That's what I want for Christmas.

If you can't make it to Kunming airport you'll find karaoke on tonight from 8:30 in the pub instead.
