The news of Liz Truss packing her bags has been overshadowed by the breaking news that The Snakes have pulled out of division 3 with immediate effect. The offer to play in the Dubai Super 6 league this winter was too much to turn down.

As the Winter League is quickly approaching us, the Snakes are holding out trials for the First team. Trials will be arranged in the near future but all applicants must have these qualities:

1. World class at pool
2. Take alot of s**t from their own team
3. Take even more abuse from opponents
4. Be a dick

BREAKING NEWS!!!!

Unofficial confirmation of the Snakes getting promoted after securing a fine 7 points vs the weeds. Leroy gave us a call at 6-4 to inspire us to get a healthy 7 points to secure promotion to division 3. What helped was a tasty little phone call from Leroy at 6-4 down to inspire us to win the last set 3-2.

As captain, I would like to thank all the players for their fine efforts and a huge shout out to our special VIPers who followed us around Penwith cheering us on. Another big thanks goes to our team manager who stepped in halfway through the season with a game plan which we executed thoroughly.

THE BIG FINALE!!!

Well well well.....tomorrow night sees the slippery little Snakes take on the confident and boisterous Red Lion in the biggest game of the season!

Tomorrow will determine whether ourselves, Red Lion or Seven Stars get promoted to the dizzy heights of division 3 along with the hackers (Commercial).

The Snakes have a full squad to choose from with manager Rhys Poynter even hiring a stretched limo to take the Snakes to the game (paid for by Leroy).

We would like to ask all fans attending the deciding match to use public transport. Jonno doesn't get a bonus for promoting this but car parking opportunities in Newlyn are hard to come by.

Snakes 7 - 8 Kings Arms

A valiant display from the Snakes once skipper Jonathan Leek turned up to rally the troops.

Evening got off to a rocky start with Corey Jewell pulling out with a poorly hand or wrist or something like that. Snakes went 4-0 so a 7-8 result looks pretty cushty.

Dan Hopkins managed to lose all 3 with the last game for him potting the black ball early doors but James England did us proud and fu**ed up with two shots on the black twice.

SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Tomorrow sees the Snakes host Kings Arms. A very tough encounter lies ahead of us given the last game between both sides.

Not only do we have the squad announcement but we would like to apologise to all 3 people who have complained to the league about us 😔. The Snakes have taken the leagues comments very seriously and will be applying some DIY to the match shirts this week. We certainly can't afford WW4 after all!

Tomorrow's squad sees a huge seven slippery Snakes available!!! Zak Morris is unavailable whilst Nathan Hook and Jonno (DOTD) Leek will be arriving late to sweep up any damage done which leaves us with a starting line up of: Corey Jewell, Jimmy England, Daniel Hopkins, Alex Ralf and Jack Ralf.

We would like to wish team manager Rhys Poynter all the best with his 4 day weekend to Amsterdam. Rhys will be in training for 1 of those days following his turnout last week and the other 3 days he is sorting the Snakes out with cheerleaders for next season!!!!
